Two years after its sold-out debut, the genre-defying Orchestral Qawwali Project returns to the Royal Albert Hall. Created by Rushil Ranjan and Abi Sampa, the performance features the BBC Concert Orchestra and London Voices. Written and directed by composer Rushil Ranjan, the concert creates a dialogue between centuries-old Sufi devotional traditions and Western symphonic music, interwoven with Indian classical dance. Led by the vocals of Abi Sampa, the production reimagines Qawwali for a new generation. This special event delivers entirely new repertoire while featuring audience favourites, exploring universal spirituality through a choral focus.
