Chopin’s First Piano Concerto with Hayato Sumino

Internet-famous virtuoso Hayato Sumino, a semi-finalist at the 2021 International Chopin Competition, joins the Los Angeles Philharmonic to perform Chopin’s poetic Piano Concerto No. 1. Sumino, known for his technical prowess and improvisational feel, describes Chopin as a perfectionist whose works sound spontaneous. The program also features conductor Louis Langrée leading Mozart's "Gran Partita."
