An open-air, mainstream classical night.
It only takes four notes to recognize Beethoven’s iconic Fifth Symphony. Anna Handler returns to the Hollywood Bowl to conduct this legendary masterpiece along with Beethoven’s Triple Concerto, a unique blend of symphonic and chamber music. The performance features Acting Concertmaster Bing Wang, Principal Cello Robert deMaine, and keyboardist Joanne Pearce Martin. The evening begins with a woodwind-focused piece by rising composer Grace-Evangeline Mason, inspired by the moon as a golden flower in the night sky.
