Festival Season in Thessaloniki

Thessaloniki runs its festivals along a seafront that no other Greek city can match - on the Thermaic Gulf, with a converted Ottoman district at its back and a 3,000-capacity mission courtyard on higher ground. September belongs to Reworks and Street Mode; the rest of the season builds from May and closes with the Dimitria Festival's three-month programme running into December.
