A giant of the piano in our time, Daniil Trifonov explores South American repertoire for an explosive cocktail of colors and rhythms. His immense repertoire constantly expands towards unsuspected horizons, this time journeying through Argentine and Brazilian music. Alongside the famous works of Ginastera and Villa-Lobos, Trifonov introduces us to Dominican Republic composers Juan Francisco García and Rafael Bullumba Landestoy, even featuring a piece of his own composition as an homage to this warm and passionate music.
