The second half of the evening features Richard Strauss' Also sprach Zarathustra, a dramatic and mystical work describing the philosopher Zarathustra's journey. Following several acclaimed previous collaborations, this concert continues their artistic exchange, performing works that span from a hymnic sunrise to grandiose orchestral textures.
