A slow-burn, underground neoclassical night.
Italian composer and multi-instrumentalist Bruno Bavota comes to Lab Grounds with intimate music shaped by neo-classical piano, chamber folk, ambient textures and experimental electronics. Bavota is known for turning personal thoughts and emotions into reflective instrumental pieces. Although his early work drew comparisons with fellow Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi, he has continued to develop a more experimental approach, disrupting traditional melodies with effects pedals, processors and live manipulation. His new album Night Music, due for release in October 2026, collects deeply personal solo piano compositions inspired by the stillness and melancholy of the night. The music moves slowly and deliberately, creating space for contemplation and quiet emotional detail.
