A raw classical night.
Three 2016 BBC Young Musician finalists – Jess Gillam, Ben Goldscheider and Sheku Kanneh-Mason – reunite a decade later for the world premiere of a Triple Concerto by Gwilym Simcock. The work, full of rhythmic energy, was specially commissioned by the BBC. The vibrant programme also features Britten’s colourful The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra and the folk-inspired warmth of Dvořák’s iconic ‘New World’ Symphony.
