The Backdoor Society and Boris Bond Live at Schokoladen Berlin

PLEASURE SEEKERS CLUB & READY STEADY GO present: THE BACKDOOR SOCIETY was formed in 2017 in Piacenza, Italy. They are heavily influenced by mid-sixties european beat, especially Nederbeat (Outsiders and Q65 are their main influences). The Society toured in Europe and performed at festivals (including Festival Beat and Berlin Beat Invasion), released two LPs on area Pirata Records (both awarded 5 stars by the British magazine Shindig!), and released a couple of 7’’ on American labels. Their third 45 on Area Pirata has just been released. If you love Dutch Beat, the wild sixties R&B and the Stones-like ballads you can’t help but love the Backdoor Society! BORIS BOND follows the call of the West Balkan mountains and the waves of Southern California. They love the classic surf sound but the music of Bosnia—where one of our guitarists was born and raised—and punk (all members previously played in punk bands) are also essential parts of our musical identity. Our mission is to capture moods, play with them, and bring them to life!
