Tommy Barlow grew up in a musical household in Cambridge, influenced by traditional folk music. He later moved to London to study Electronic Music at Guildhall. His creative process incorporates field recordings, guitars, strings, and samples, often featuring his unique vocal style and occasionally bagpipes. His sound is shaped by a diverse range of influences including Bon Iver, Steve Reich, Mount Kimbie, and James Blake.
