A nostalgic, underground baroque night.
The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the Choir of the Age of Enlightenment perform Parts 4 through 6 of J.S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio (BWV248) under the direction of conductor Václav Luks. The programme opens with Jan Dismas Zelenka's Statio quadruplex pro Processione Theophorica (ZWV 158). The performance features soloists Sofia Kirwan-Baez, Helen Charlston, Guy Cutting, and Florian Störtz.
