A nostalgic, underground baroque night.
Herbert-von-Karajan-Straße 1, Berlin
The Brandenburg Concertos are among the greatest works of Baroque music, featuring rich, colorful sounds of strings and winds, virtuosic solos, and rhythmic energy. Each concerto is unique in character and instrumentation, showcasing the composer's stylistic breadth. To open the Original Sound series, the legendary Bach Collegium Japan — a key bridge between the European and Asian Baroque scenes — performs all six concertos in a single evening under the direction of Masato Suzuki.
