Acclaimed pianist Hélène Grimaud returns to Walt Disney Concert Hall for a solo recital following her successful performance at the Hollywood Bowl. The program features a pairing of Beethoven's final sonata, known for its brisk passion and syncopated rhythms, with the ethereal serenity of Schubert's B-flat Sonata. Grimaud is celebrated for her ability to transform familiar classical works into entirely new experiences, acting as an alchemist of sound. This performance is part of the Colburn Celebrity Recital series and is generously supported by the Colburn Foundation.
