A fast-paced, raw punk night.
Formed in 1978 in Fullerton, California, Social Distortion are icons of rebellious punk rock. Founded by frontman Mike Ness, the band initially delivered a raw, stripped-down sound that became a staple of the punk canon with early recordings like 'Mommy's Little Monster'. Following a mid-80s hiatus, the group evolved their sound to incorporate outlaw country influences, drawing from legends like Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard. This shift was showcased on the acclaimed album 'Prison Bound' and led to major commercial success with 'Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell', featuring the hit 'Bad Luck'. Throughout decades of infrequent but influential releases, including 'White Light, White Heat, White Trash' and 'Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes', Social Distortion has maintained a legacy as one of the most enduring and respected acts in the genre.
