The Meltdown channel Southern soul with echoes of Stax, Motown, and Nashville’s songwriting tradition. Anchored by Simon Burke’s captivating and soulful voice, their music blends hypnotic grooves, graceful horns, and heartfelt melodies to move both hearts and feet. Since signing with Melbourne’s Hopestreet Recordings a decade ago, the band has earned acclaim for their album, with mesmerising live performances and festival appearances. Celebrating their 10th anniversary tour with a brand new album set to release, The Meltdown continue to spread their warm, soul-infused embrace far and wide as we bring their world-class sound to our home for a matinee show, added in huge demand.
