A performance of György Kurtág's Kafka Fragments, completed forty years ago. The work is a collection of aphoristic pieces based on the writings of Franz Kafka, known for their haunting imagery and exploration of the human condition. Soprano Rebecca Hardwick and violinist Tamsin Waley-Cohen perform this piece, highlighting its visceral theatricality and emotional range.
