A queer americana night.
Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist Katie Pruitt brings her 'Fools for the Fleeting Tour' to Brooklyn. Following her acclaimed debut album 'Expectations,' which explored her experiences growing up queer in the Christian South, Pruitt's latest work, 'Mantras,' turns the lens inward. The new album explores themes of self-compassion, gender identity, and the search for peace amidst uncertainty, showcasing her evolving folk-indie-rock sound. Produced by Collin Pastore and Jake Finch, the record is an introspective journey of personal growth, self-acceptance, and emotional discovery.
