Experience a sunlit paradise in Maurice Ravel's 1912 ballet Daphnis and Chloé, a work that captures birdsong and glittering dew through its ravishing score and magical vocals from the Philharmonia Chorus. The evening also features Richard Strauss' uproarious Don Quixote, where the eccentric hero battles windmills and sheep. Cellist Johannes Moser portrays the mad knight alongside violist Abigail Fenna as his sidekick Sancho Panza, led by conductor Vasily Petrenko and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
