A slow-burn, underground arabic jazz night.
Anouar Brahem performs his poignant album After the Last Sky with an international and intergenerational quartet. Released in March 2025, the record takes its title from a Mahmoud Darwish poem and features graceful chamber pieces for oud, cello, piano, and bass. Drawing from traditional Arabic music and global influences, Brahem's oud is complemented by piano, lyrical cello, and earthy double bass. Together, the quartet creates a deeply expressive and moving performance that balances pure melodies with natural interplay, resulting in a sound that is both intimate and universal.
