Philip Higham performs Britten’s three Cello Suites, works written for and dedicated to Mstislav Rostropovich. Since his 2013 debut album of these suites, which received high praise for its technical mastery and emotional depth, Higham's interpretations have continued to mature, showcasing the poetic beauty of Britten's compositions.
