Nao Yoshioka is an emerging voice in contemporary R&B and soul whose journey from Japan to New York has earned her global recognition and critical acclaim. Hailing from Osaka, she was inspired by Sam Cooke to build a career on her powerful voice and honest, introspective lyrics. Fresh off her world tour and the release of her fifth album Flow, she continues to shape contemporary soul with a modern sensibility rooted in classic influences. She has performed on prestigious stages including Blue Note Tokyo and the New York Winter Jazz Festival, and is the first Japanese artist to reach the top 40 on Billboard’s UAC chart.
