CUD were the pre-Britpop answer to shoegazing bands, emerging from the same Leeds art and design scene that fostered Soft Cell, Scritti Politti, and The Mekons. Known for being fun-loving and romantic, the group is celebrated for their catchy and light-hearted indie rock sound.
