Max Baillie and the Lodestar Trio draw together Nordic folk music with classical traditions from Bach to Bartók. The ensemble features the Swedish nyckelharpa, Norwegian hardanger fiddle, and violin, creating a sound where Baroque elegance meets Scandinavian and Eastern European folk traditions.
