Volker Goetze presents a brand-new quartet performance blending jazz with ancient Sri Lankan folktales and Kandyan traditional dance rhythms. The music features trumpet, flugelhorn, bass clarinet, double bass, and the unique timbre of the Gata Bera ceremonial drum, combining original compositions with traditional arrangements.
