Experience a night of traditional Cuban sounds and vocal jazz. The Sugar Kings Cuban trio perform a repertoire of son Cubano, vintage mambo, and cha-cha-cha, drawing inspiration from pre-revolution Havana. The performance features Flavio Correa on percussion, Elpidio Caicedo on baby bass, and Daniel Carnago on tres guitar. Joining the evening is Louise Balkwill, a London-based jazz vocalist recognized for her blues-infused and virtuosic approach to the genre, bringing her charismatic style to the European jazz stage.
