Traversing ambient, experimental, downtempo, hip hop and trap, 'I look back and see, the distance is a star' folds together Islamic metaphysics, migration, liberation theology, physics and non-linearity across 7 songs. Following improvised performances across London's experimental music scene, both solo and with Kairo Girls' School, Silai will perform her E.P live for the first time.
