An underground, slow-burn experimental night.
Part of Found Sound Nation's salon series at Barbès, this concert features tap dancer Melissa Almaguer alongside guest electronic musician Eliana Fishbeyn. Almaguer explores environmental soundscapes using textured surfaces, percussion, field recordings, and found objects. Fishbeyn performs on a self-designed electronic instrument influenced by Butch Morris's Conduction and digital-age folk music.
