Our new weekly open mic night, We Are The Aux, takes place every Thursday at Secret Spot DTLA in Downtown Los Angeles. Hosted by Cam Lj. and a rotating selection of guest hosts, this community-oriented event provides a welcoming space for musicians and creators. Previously known as The Aux Cord Open Mic, the evening serves as a creative hub for LGBTQ+ artists and allies. Performers are invited to plug in their phone and sing over their tracks or use the provided instruments, including a keyboard and guitar. The event welcomes a diverse range of styles from pop and R&B to hyperpop and synth wave, with a priority on QTBIPOC artists. Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis at the door.
