John Scofield is one of today's guitar heroes. A masterly improviser with a unique sound, he blends post-bop, funk-edged jazz, and a deep feel for the blues. As one of the principal innovators of modern jazz guitar, he performs here with his Long Days Quartet. The group also features New York-based Hammond organ player John Medeski, alongside Ted Poor and Vicente Archer.
