An underground, slow-burn ambient night.
William Basinski is an experimental media composer known for using obsolete technology and analogue tape loops to create melancholic soundscapes exploring memory and the passage of time. Joining him is muein, a sculptor, curator, and sound artist exploring software obsolescence and intuition-based synthesis. This performance takes place as part of the DURATIONS Festival, a week-long multi-disciplinary celebration of sound and connection across New York City.
