Roots reggae history comes together at de Doelen as Culture, led by Kenyatta Hill, shares the bill with Cedric Myton from The Congos. Culture became one of Jamaica's defining reggae groups through spiritual lyrics, rich harmonies and albums such as Two Sevens Clash. Kenyatta Hill now continues the legacy established by his father, original Culture frontman Joseph Hill. Cedric Myton is known for the distinctive falsetto that helped make The Congos one of roots reggae's most recognisable vocal groups. Their landmark album Heart of the Congos remains a celebrated part of Jamaican music history.
