An underground contemporary classical night.
Experience a live performance of Steve Reich’s hypnotic, era-defining Music for 18 Musicians. Tuned percussion, pianos, clarinets, violin, cello and women’s voices weave ever-shifting patterns of sound, their duration determined by the length of a human breath. A spectacular live performance led by acclaimed percussionist Colin Currie, alongside Guildhall School of Music and Drama musicians and dazzling visuals from the Guildhall School Production Arts department.
