London-based drummer, bandleader, and Guildhall graduate Jonah Phillips debuts a new quartet combining an Ornette Coleman-inspired lineup with heavy, riff-driven grooves. The ensemble's arrangements draw from Charles Mingus, Paul Motian, Bill Frisell, David Bowie, and The Smile.
