A slow-burn classical piano night.
Lucas Debargue brings his unique musical personality to the Philharmonie de Paris for a programme combining major Russian masterworks with his own compositions. The evening features Rachmaninoff's epic and dense Piano Sonata no. 2, alongside Mussorgsky's phantasmagorical Pictures at an Exhibition. Debargue also performs his own Vingt Variations et Finale based on George Gershwin's Summertime, showcasing the singular artistic path he has forged since his breakthrough at the 2015 Tchaikovsky Competition.
