Thievery Corporation canta pe 20 iulie la Arenele Romane din Bucuresti in cadrul turneului aniversar Thievery Corporation - 30th Anniversary Tour - Est 1996. Thievery Corporation este un duo ce si-a inceput activitatea in 1995, la Eighteenth Street Lounge din Washington D.C. Cei doi membri fondatori, Rob Garza si Eric Hilton au reusit sa combine dragostea lor pentru bossa nova, jazz, electro si dub intr-un stil muzical aparte. Treptat, in muzica lor au introdus si elemente de rap, reggae, muzica indiana sau trip hop. Din 1995 pana in prezent au lansat 10 materiale de studio care au intrat in topurile muzicale din tari precum Statele Unite, Noua Zeelanda, Mare Britanie, Germania, Franta si nu numai. De-a lungul carierei, versurile formatiei au fost compuse intr-o varietate de limbi printre care portugheza, romana, persana, hindi, engleza sau spaniola.
