Home Alone in Concert brings the Christmas classic back to the big screen at RTM Stage in Rotterdam Ahoy, with live music performed by the Noordpool Orkest and choir Nieuw Vocaal Amsterdam. During this festive concert screening, the full film is shown on a large screen while 120 musicians perform John Williams’ iconic score live, precisely in sync with the film. The result is a Christmas film experience with extra warmth, scale and musical sparkle. Since its release in 1990, Home Alone has become a worldwide Christmas favourite. The film follows eight-year-old Kevin McCallister, who is accidentally left home alone when his family leaves for the holidays. Williams’ playful, emotional and festive score gives the story its heart, and hearing it performed live adds a fresh layer to a film many visitors know by heart.
