A concert cycle with Sir András Schiff at the turn of the year has almost become a tradition at the Pierre Boulez Saal. In addition to a solo evening featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach, this year's focus is on chamber music. Schiff will perform with close musical friends in two different trio programs and vocal evenings featuring music by Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Bartók, and others. A particular highlight is his appearance with young pianists whose artistic development he fosters and intensively accompanies through his mentoring project, Building Bridges.
