An underground, nostalgic flamenco night.
Französische Str. 33D, 10117 Berlin, Germany
Part of the Arabic Music Days at Pierre Boulez Saal, this season the festival explores African cultures in their Arabic dimension. Curator Naseer Shamma has invited five ensembles from various African countries to showcase musical identities shaped by centuries-old traditions. The third evening of the series features Hisham Errish and his ensemble, presenting a program that combines the musical heritage of the Imazighen and Tuareg with Andalusian influences and flamenco-inspired rhythms. The performance highlights music as a living organism passed down through generations, reflecting shared memories and rhythms born from the earth.
