An underground jazz fusion night.
Saxophonist Jamie Harms presents incisive new arrangements of John Zorn's monolithic MASADA songbook, drawing on influences from post-punk and Sephardic surf music. The project, titled HARMSADA, emerged from a UK tour of Zorn's big band work and features interpretations developed under the guidance of longtime Zorn collaborator Sam Eastmond. Jamie Harms has assembled a new quintet to perform these unique arrangements.
