The programme features the luminous beauty of Beethoven’s Second Piano Concerto, followed by the profound melancholy and warmth of Brahms’s final symphony. The evening opens with the dramatic Overture No. 2 by Louise Farrenc. This performance is part of the BBC Proms 2026 festival and will be recorded for broadcast on BBC TV.
