Pops Magellan is a Brazilian bassist, producer, and composer based in Los Angeles, one of the new voices in bass. Her music is bass-driven and blends new-age, punk, and funk. Her debut solo EP, DAMAGE, was recognized by Bass Magazine as one of the most exciting releases of 2025. As a touring and session musician, she has worked with Willow, Adam Lambert, Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker, Cimafunk, KUN and Artur Menezes, on stages from Wembley Stadium and the Royal Albert Hall to the Late Late Show with James Corden. In Brazil, she was the resident bassist for Adnight on Rede Globo, performing alongside major national artists such as Anitta and Ludmilla. DAMAGE, written, produced, and arranged by Pops, features grammy winning Taylor Graves, Justin Brown, Stanley Randolph, Astyn Turr, Swatkins, and Artur Menezes, establishing her as a solo artist and producer and unique voice. In 2026, she performed at the Bass Magazine Awards, part of a lineup of leading figures from both legacy and contemporary bass, cementing her role as a new voice at the forefront of the future of bass.
