Nene is a New York music producer, DJ, and creative director looking to shape how collaboration and experimentation is done with his closest network of peers. Nene strives with using his genre bending production to lay a canvas for forward-thinking artists that stay true to their authenticity and makes music for the soul. It all started after finding grandmas old salsa record collection. Something about all that music preserved, no matter where the artist was their sound was cemented in that vinyl. That fascination led to picking up a record player and chopping those songs into some of his first beats. And here we are… Operating independently out of his studio space in Queens, Nene continues to develop his craft while carving out a space in his community to let raw artistry and intentional creativity exist without compromise.
