Musica Sequenza transforms Baroque music into a living, interdisciplinary experience. Founded by Burak Özdemir at The Juilliard School in New York in 2008. Since 2011 they're based in Berlin. The ensemble unites musicians, singers, dancers, choreographers, visual artists, designers, and filmmakers from around the world to create performances that bridge history and contemporary culture. Performing on 18th-century period instruments, Musica Sequenza presents over 50 productions worldwide, ranging from Renaissance and Baroque repertoire to modern, electro-acoustic, and experimental music theater. Their performances combine instrumental mastery with dance, conceptual performance, and multimedia, offering audiences immersive, cinematic, and emotionally resonant soundscapes.
