“Make music to change the world, not to fit the status quo”, is how Syndicate Entertainment Dancehall Artist, Mic Blaque approaches his craft. Mic is proud of his Jamaican roots and Brooklyn upbringing and his music celebrates this intersection of his identity. Mic draws his inspiration from an eclectic pool of modern artists. This versatile taste in music has birthed a style that sets him apart from his contemporaries. Mic firmly believes that music can be a force for good, by sparking joy through encouraging people to dance and sing, in addition to his core belief that music can be a force for good by encouraging people to think about their circumstances and those of others and how they came to be what they are. Mic has been featured in notable publications; Underground Magazine, Ruined Society Magazine and Rep Your Borough Magazine’s ‘Leaders of Tomorrow’ section. Mic has opened for notabletalents like Soca music artists Patrice Roberts, Yung Brudda, Full Blown. Dancehall vocalist Kranium and Reggae legend Sista Carol, Joey Bada$$, Meek Mill. He has performed at Wilmington University, Penn State and N.Y.U. Mics music have been played on the Hot 97. Not only has Mic’s music been played on New York Powerhouse Power 105.1 he has also been interviewed on the platform multiple times, by Dj Self & Norie and the iconic Hot 97. In early 2025, Mic inked a distribution deal with multi-platinum producers Michael and Bennie Briggman through their MAB imprint with 10K Projects.
