Fernanda Silveira leads a weekly Choro jam in the front room of Barbès with Regional Samauma and special guests. This casual gathering features virtuosos of the genre. Fernanda Silveira is a cavaquinho player specializing in Brazilian choro and traditional samba. A disciple of Luciana Rabello, she has performed with numerous esteemed artists including Maurício Carrilho, Yamandu Costa, and Zé Barbeiro.
