Five For Fighting is the stage name of Vladimir Ondrasik, a Los Angeles-born singer-songwriter. Since signing his first record deal at 31, he has released six albums and achieved major success with hits like "Superman (It’s Not Easy)". His music career followed a focus on applied sciences, but his passion for songwriting and the local indie scene led him to adopt his hockey-inspired moniker and sign with EMI. After his debut album, he secured a major label deal with Columbia Records, where his second album "America Town" went Platinum. Ondrasik remains a popular figure in the singer-songwriter genre, having sold millions of albums and continuing to perform sold-out shows across the United States.
