An uplifting, nostalgic big band night.
The Jazzrausch Bigband presents a swinging Christmas program that blends big band traditions with modern arrangements. While known for their techno-jazz, this performance focuses on familiar German-language Christmas carols arranged by Leonhard Kuhn. The 19-piece ensemble traverses the history of big band music, drawing inspiration from Count Basie's drive and Woody Herman's swing. The concert also features literary depth with texts by Eichendorff, Fontane, and Storm, coinciding with their 2026 album release.
