Colombian trio Los Pirañas are a genre-defying force, twisting traditional tropical styles into something raw, psychedelic and wild. The group draw on vallenato, chicha and cumbia, reworking them through noise, improvisation and a punk-minded approach. Their explosive live sets have taken them to major festivals across Europe, earning a reputation for pushing Colombian music into bold new territory. High energy, rhythm-heavy and impossible to pin down, Los Pirañas turn tropical music inside out, and make it hit harder than ever.
