An open-air, slow-burn indie folk night.
Gregory Alan Isakov brings his expansive, atmospheric folk songs to the Hollywood Bowl for a special performance accompanied by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Born in Johannesburg and based in Colorado, Isakov is renowned for his evocative voice and masterfully crafted songs that capture a sense of place and longing. With over a billion streams and a history of successful orchestral collaborations, including a record with the Colorado Symphony, Isakov's music takes on a majestic new dimension when paired with a full orchestra. This performance features selections from his five studio albums, conducted by Christopher Dragon and featuring special guest Jose Gonzalez.
