In Ödön von Horváth's play 'Zur schönen Aussicht', it is famously said: 'I am actually quite different, but I only rarely get the chance to show it!' In 2027, before the year is even a day old, actor Max Hopp, who is closely associated with the Komische Oper Berlin, will have exactly that opportunity: to present himself to the audience from a completely different side as the creator of a symphony concert. The program developed by Max Hopp together with General Music Director James Gaffigan remains a well-kept secret for now. However, one thing is certain: Max Hopp will not leave the stage without having performed a song. As Werner Richard Heymann's song 'Hoppla, jetzt komm ich!' goes: 'I want to grab a bite of the big world and experience life the way I like it...'
